Tips from a Posture and Sleep Therapist

Tip 1 – Bending the knees

To relieve lower back pain while lying on your back, slightly raise your thighs—ideally using an automatically adjustable slatted bed frame.

Tip 2 – Lowering the Shoulders

By lowering the slats in the shoulder and pelvic areas while providing excellent support for the waist, pressure on the shoulder and hip regions is minimized.

Tip 3 – Prone Position

If you experience neck or shoulder tension, we recommend avoiding the prone position whenever possible.

4. Tip – Neck pain

An ergonomically shaped neck pillow helps relieve neck pain.
The pillow’s height must be just right. Get your trial pillow!

Tip 5 – Stretching

Targeted stretching exercises prevent muscle shortening and help with acute tension pain.

Did you know that when lying down with your legs straight, your spine has to withstand up to 40 kg of pressure?
