Shut down the body

To ensure trouble-free falling asleep and a restful night’s sleep, it is important to give the body clear instructions on when it is time for activity and wakefulness, and when the body should relax and regenerate.
During the day, we are often under pressure from a wide variety of obligations. Evenings are also often filled with various activities such as sports, recreational clubs, or daily family life. The body is constantly aware of its environment.
Evening activities and many external influences shift the body and mind into an active state. This makes it harder to prepare for sleep. Consciously dedicate the last few hours of the evening to relaxation by winding down the day calmly. Avoid loud and stimulating places. Take a leisurely evening walk. Drink a cup of tea and listen to relaxing music.
It is important to engage in relaxing and quiet activities so that you do not have to switch from activity to sleep too abruptly.
