Neck and shoulder tension

Have you already tried to relieve your neck tension with a new pillow? Have you tried various pillows for this reason?
Often, you’ll notice a slight improvement at first, but the discomfort soon returns. The reason for this is simple and obvious. When lying on your side, your shoulders and arms are wedged between your body and the mattress.
Hardly any bedding system has a shoulder zone that allows for a drop of up to 8 cm. However, the shoulder should sink in that deeply so that it no longer presses on the spine between the shoulder blades and into the neck. This pressure usually causes tension and neck discomfort.
If you use a high pillow, this often causes tension headaches in the morning, as the top vertebrae of the spine are subjected to strong lateral pressure. The spine is lifted in the neck area by a pillow that is too high, while the waist is pulled downward. This places a heavy strain on the shoulder and neck area, often even causing deformation.
Only through a perfect combination of a slatted frame with a shoulder drop and a matching mattress with a flexible shoulder zone, as well as an individually adjustable pillow, can problems with neck and shoulder tension truly be resolved.
