What Back Pain Might Have to Do with the Cool Autumn Weather

A2333517

Seasons come and go—just like some back pain.

Soon we’ll be talking about “transition” again… We buy transitional jackets or shoes, meaning clothing that’s a bit warmer than what we wear in summer, but not quite as warm as winter clothes.

Do we also need transitional duvets? From the perspective of us posture and sleep therapists, we don’t need them—just duvets that optimally regulate the climate in every season. This allows us to successfully counteract “transitional back pain.” How does that work?

Especially in spring and fall, our beloved down comforters are either still too warm or already a bit too hot. We sweat at night to regulate our body temperature, and our skin becomes damp. Often, we unconsciously push the blanket aside while sleeping and then lie uncovered in bed. Perhaps even with the window open for some fresh air... You can easily imagine how the cool draft puts an uncomfortable strain on the back muscles. This leads to tension and, consequently, pain that we can’t quite pinpoint right away.

The solution seems simple: Replace your light summer blanket with a functional Outlast climate-regulating duvet this fall. Originally developed for space travel, it provides optimal warmth even in winter. Thanks to their unique construction, these textiles regulate our body temperature so that we don’t sweat but can always enjoy a pleasantly dry sleeping environment. Of course, this promotes better sleep, and you’ll wake up feeling fit and rested in the morning.

Ask your sleep therapist for a sample duvet and see the amazing results for yourself!

Sleep soundly this coming fall.
